Metrics and Certifications

*SARAS is a set of policies, guidelines, tools, and procedures that facilitate the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of the environmental and social risks generated during the approval and execution of projects and/or economic activities. The methodology complies with Mexican environmental and social legislation and promotes the international best practices of the Equator Principles and International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards.

Environmental responsibility

We are constantly raising our environmental awareness to reduce our carbon footprint. Our actions to use resources more efficiently and responsibly, thus generating a positive impact, are real, measurable and recurring.

Social commitment

We want to contribute to the construction of a society with better opportunities. That is why we support children's boarding schools, foundations for cancer treatment and we ensure the well-being of all our employees, customers and suppliers.

Governance criteria

Our company is a space in which transparency, diversity and fairness are fundamental. That is why we design ethical guidelines, promote gender parity and seek to be an increasingly inclusive company at all levels.

Environmental

As a Socially Responsible Company, we decided to take action and innovate our business core by evaluating the sustainability and impact of all the projects we finance. To achieve this, we have implemented the Environmental and Social policy "SARAS" to promote a healthy business administration that controls and monitors our projects' impact on communities and the environment. The policy establishes a set of guidelines, instruments, and considerations for our accreditation process that reduces environmental and social risks when granting financing. Our policy is meticulously enforced during our accreditation process.

Access to education

We joined UNICEF’s education efforts, signing a three-year collaboration agreement, supporting education programs promoted by the organization.

Supporting Entrepreneurs

We reaffirm our commitment to the intellectual development of new generations by partnering with EPIC Lab, a center for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México ("ITAM"), seeking to inspire young people in their entrepreneurial journey.
